Effective use of asset data enables significant financial savings
Effective use of asset data has enabled Staffordshire County Council to realise significant financial savings
Dynniq has worked alongside Staffordshire County Council and Ian Routledge Consultancy Ltd to complete an in-depth asset data collection of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) assets.
This week our client, Staffordshire County Council, was able to identify and quantify savings generated following the input of data into the contract Fault and Asset Management System, Imtrac.
We are delighted to share the following feedback directly from the client:
“We have been using Imtrac for 3 years now and we have seen significant benefits in the way we manage our assets.
Following a detailed review of our inventory, we have produced more accurate Elexon records which increased our asset volume but due to the increased accuracy of the data we achieved energy savings of c£70k per annum, a phenomenal achievement.
Peter (from Ian Routledge Consultancy Ltd) was extremely helpful through the whole process dealing with bugs, errors and queries in an efficient and professional manner. We have also been using the system for more detailed inspections and will now start looking into setting our system up so we can plan the lifecycle of our assets.
We would highly recommend Imtrac for all its ITS fault and asset management needs due to the inherent benefits of maintaining an accurate and up to date inventor. ”
